To Re-name or Not to Re-name?

I am thinking about changing the names of some of my American Girl Today/Just Like You/My American Girl dolls: Emily, Devon, Chloe (MAYBE Chloe... I think her name is so cute) and Natalie.  The names I am considering are Susan, Eleanor, and Lucy... I also thought about Polly, Susan, Lucy, and Jill (for all the girls who went to Narnia in the C.S. Lewis series). I LOVE the Narnia books.  But if I did that I would not get to use the name Eleanor, sadly.
What do you think?

    I think Devon should be Lucy, or a name I think is cute for her is Alex, short for Alexis or Alexa. Chloe should be Susan. you have a good taste in names.

    Yeah! I think Emily should be Susan, Devon should be Eleanor, Chloe's name will stay the same, and Natalie should stay the same. :)

    I like the names you named them, but if you really want to rename them ): I think that you should name Natalie Susan, since she kind of looks like Susan with the dark hair.

    I think that you should keep Chloe named Chloe. It is such a cute name that matches her so well.
    So you like your Ruthie doll? I've trying to decide whether I want to get a My American Girl doll like your Emily doll, or if I get Ruthie, since I have Kit. I would greatly appreciate your advice, since I love both of them so much! Maybe you could tell me the pros and cons of both?

    Wow! Those are some great suggestions! I like Hayden and Becca, but I already have Rebecca :D
    I like Ana, Anna, and Grace too! Maybe I could do a double name like Ana Grace - that would be pretty.

    Anonymous (the one asking about Ruthie and the MyAG):
    I love Ruthie because of her hair! It is so fun to style because it is kind of curly. Also, her eyes are very unique because they are blue-gray.
    Emily's hair color is reallyl pretty. I tend to lean towards buying dolls with red hair (Emily, Felicity, and Mia). It is a nice length, too.
    Since you already have Kit, I would probably go with Ruthie, but it is always fun coming up with names and personalities for a new doll. You will have to tell me which one you choose!
