Hello, everyone! Hope you all had great Christmases. I have not posted in FOREVER, but I thought I would show you how my dolls' house looked over Christmas.

Hooray for Thanksgiving Break

Happy Early Thanksgiving, everyone!  I know everybody is probably excited to get a break from school this week.  I am hoping to take a little time and do some fun things with my dolls in anticipation for Christmas.  Photostories, decorating, and I even have a contest suggested by you to announce.  How exciting!
My family put up our Christmas tree last night and did some decorating.  Doesn't Kit look sweet?

New Names Revealed!

Everyone gave great suggestions about new names for Devon, Chloe, Emily, and Natalie.  I have finally decided on what to call them.

Devon (left) will be Lucy.  Natalie (middle) will be Eleanor.  And Emily (right) will be Susan.  As for Chloe...

She will just be Chloe :)

To Re-name or Not to Re-name?

I am thinking about changing the names of some of my American Girl Today/Just Like You/My American Girl dolls: Emily, Devon, Chloe (MAYBE Chloe... I think her name is so cute) and Natalie.  The names I am considering are Susan, Eleanor, and Lucy... I also thought about Polly, Susan, Lucy, and Jill (for all the girls who went to Narnia in the C.S. Lewis series). I LOVE the Narnia books.  But if I did that I would not get to use the name Eleanor, sadly.
What do you think?

I Moved!

I moved to a new house recently!  Right now my room (and my dolls' rooms) is a sea of boxes, but here is the progress on my dolls' house.

Tea Set for Mini Dolls

Look what I found at Hobby Lobby!  I have been waiting for this to go on sale for a while, and it finally did!  It is a dollhouse miniature tea set, just the right size for mini dolls.

Isn't it pretty? It came with a tea pot, sugar bowl, creamer, and six tea cups and saucers.  (I already had the tray.)

Natalie and Mia had a tea party with their dolls Marie-Grace and Cecile.

The Slumber Party - An AG Photostory 3/3

Once the other guests had left, Mia, Natalie, Rebecca, Devon and Chloe all changed into their pajamas for a game night!

They set up the games and some tables.

Devon, Natalie and Rebecca played Monopoly.

Mia and Chloe played Uno. "Uno!" shouted Mia.

 Natalie rolled the dice.  She was determined to win!

After Uno and Monopoly were over, they set their dolls down to play Twister.

Mia spun the board. "Right hand red!" she called.

Rebecca watched as Natalie, Chloe and Devon stretched over each other.

Then CRASH! They all fell over into a pile of giggles.

Devon went with Natalie to fetch some milk and cookies.  Twister made them hungry!

Everyone chatted while munching on their midnight snack.

They all bundled into their blankets and pillows for the night.

Natalie lovingly tucked her new doll under her arm and settled in.  It had been a great birthday!

Natalie's Birthday Party - An AG Photostory 2/3

It was the big day and it was time for the party!

Natalie greeted her guests as they arrived.  She was so excited to see them.  Devon and Chloe brought their dolls, Samatha and Julie.

Now that everyone was here, they could get started.

Everyone gathered around the table and sung 'Happy Birthday' to Natalie.

As the birthday girl, Natalie cut the cake.

Rebecca poured the soda into paper cups. 

Chloe was the first to get some pizza.  She was hungry after all the baking she had done earlier!

Elizabeth got a cupcake.

Ruthie decided to get pizza AND ice cream.

Mia poured some lemonade for Felicity.

Back in the parlor, Emily and Devon posed for a picture while enjoying their treats.

Once everyone was back in their seats, Natalie started opening her presents.

She excitedly ripped into the wrapping paper on the first one.

Everyone oohed and ahhed at the pretty silver handmirror.  It would go so well on her bedside table!

 Natalie went for the next present on the table.  Looking at the size of the box, she wondered if it could be...

It was!!!!

Josephina!

Holding her new doll on her lap, Natalie opened her third present.

It was Josephina's Christmas dress and book!

She held the dress up to Josephina.  It would look so pretty on her!

Her last present was big!

It was a Twister mat!  They would have to play it at the slumber party later ;)
